Having been in the blade industry for 130 years, Victorinox has staked a claim in the knife world that’s hard to ignore. Though the company is known for its quality pocket knives, it uses the same guiding principles to craft its line of cooking knives Read More
Straight out of the box this knife is ready to rock! It's sharp enough to cut veggies paper thin. Overall it has a great feel. I love the texture of the handle.
Received wrong version.... wanted the 10" slicer, was sent the bread knife... was able to return it and get $s refunded.
I smoke a lot of briskets so I want a good slicer.
Will have to find it on Amazon I guess.
Undoubtedly a convenient everyday knife.
At it's sharpest, it is satisfactorily sharp though nothing outstanding. The blade holds its sharpness moderately well.
The knife lacks heft. This may be an advantage to some, but in the long run this is not the attribute of a top class knife.
Truly - you get what you pay for. For the price I happily recommend this series of knives for their utility and ease of care.
AllisfluxI own a range of hand and machine made Japanese knives. None are light as a feather and none are as light as the Victorinox. Its true they tend not to be as heavy as classic German knives.
This knife is a pleasure to use. Well balanced, easy to hold in my small hands and as easy in my husbands big hands. Super sharp. I’m very happy with this knife.
