Undoubtedly a convenient everyday knife.
At it's sharpest, it is satisfactorily sharp though nothing outstanding. The blade holds its sharpness moderately well.
The knife lacks heft. This may be an advantage to some, but in the long run this is not the attribute of a top class knife.
Truly - you get what you pay for. For the price I happily recommend this series of knives for their utility and ease of care.
AllisfluxI own a range of hand and machine made Japanese knives. None are light as a feather and none are as light as the Victorinox. Its true they tend not to be as heavy as classic German knives.
