Buyer beware. I bought the other model of the Maverick II a few months ago from a dealer. After wearing it for less than a day I realized the hour hand was not moving because it had fallen off. One of the end links was also poorly machined. It was slightly too thick on one of the sides and wouldn't allow for the springbar to stay fully engaged (not a springbar issue as I tried replacing it before carefully inspecting the end link).
Overall, I'm still a fan of Victorinox but would definitely not purchase either of the Maverick II models. Just thought I'd share my experience.

OhioEngineerAre you sure you didn't get the Goose model instead of the Maverick?
I'll see myself out...
