I am really beginning to question why I should not cancel my Massdrop account. I can get this on Amazon for 74.99. With my prime membership shipping is free and its two days guaranteed delivery.
I noticed they have been raising prices accross the board I was thinking of joining the Manix 2 XL glow in the dark, but found out it was $10 more than the previous drop. I also wanted to get a couple more A1 Fallkniven knifes for my cousins but that too is $10 more. I am active in two drops at the moment, but I am seriously thinking of leaving after that.
another useless corkscrew... they need a wood scaled trekker... this is ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... that side button with that 3.9" blade is not going to be fun when it closes on you.
The corkscrew is the most useful tool on there! What do you mean it's useless?
Also, what do you mean about the button? As far as I can see here the side button is what stops it closing on you.
jon.erling.skoglandx50CrMoV15, just like every other Victorinox knife. Its similar to 420HC, with slightly increased corrosion resistance as pretty much the only noticeable difference.
I have used the red plastic handled ones of these for years; the button takes significant force to slide along and fold the blade. Are these wooden handle ones using a different mechanism?
I see your point if you don't pull corks; but I have used cork screws for gripping and pulling other things too. It's basically a screw in handle for anything soft enough to screw it into.
