Product Description
As tough as a field watch and as dashing as a dress watch, the Victorinox Maverick has earned a spot on the wrist of many watch fans. This all-gold version trims the normally 43-millimeter case down to a modest 34 millimeters Read More

I see what's going on here--this is a ladies watch that identifies as a man's watch. Okay, I get it--it's 2020, everything is gender fluid now, right? Well not my watches damn it--I'm raising them all as MENS watches whether they like it or not--even if that means I have to pay for their therapy bills later!

Is this a woman's watch?

DeathSoxIn general I agree with Massdropbear. Some watches are clearly marketed to stereotypical women or men, but this one is pretty neutral style-wise (and size-wise).

I remember those winters! I had to walk 20 miles (or was it KMs--I forget now) through the snow just to get to school ;- )

Hey everyone, We're very excited to be working with Victorinox for our next Brand Spotlight. They have been a long time partner of ours and they're reputation for mechanical excellence goes back over 100 years to their original founding as a Swiss knife maker. For this spotlight, we will be working directly with the North American subsidiary of Victorinox for fulfillment and part of that means we will only be shipping these watches to the US and Canada. I know this is a bit of a bummer for our international users, but we are always working to expand our collections to those of you outside of North America in the future.

Just focusing one brand at a time is so lame. I only used Drop for variety of watches. I might stop buying here if they continue with this stupid concepts.

I agree to occasional good watches like Glycine, Heritor Edgar, and Seiko Speedmaster. Plus some good headphones-HD-6XX (waited 6 month for those suckers).I cant complain too much but that was last year.

samir.shresthaOn the contrary these brand focus fixes the issue of wether or not I should buy a model half-heartedly or possibly wait for the model that may or may not appear down the line. I say keep the brand focuses coming long as they're favorable brands.

I like small watches. I probably would have picked this up if it wasnt for the bown? Whatever colour that is dial and bezel

My edc is 37mm and looks just right on my wrist, and sometimes I'll wear my Casio 'vintage' cheapo which is noticeably smaller. Pretty sure this one would work for me. Can't really tell if I like it based on two pics, but the brown dial is nice.

RayFFunny, last time this issue came up Drop adjusted the text to reflect it was a womans watch. Personally IMO the style could be unisex. I would if I could be interested if it was a 42mm, the colour combo looks good. 34mm really is not traditionally a man's size, even years ago 36mm was pushing it.

JAone I agree--it is a pretty good looking watch. As you say, size is a personal choice but I wouldn't be surprised to learn this watch came in two sizes, kind of a his and hers kind of thing perhaps? Anyway I do think if Gender is not prominently stated, the Case Size should be--it's annoying to get excited about a watch only to discover seconds later it's either too small (or too large) for you.
This listing is part of our "Brand Spotlight", announced here: https://drop.com/talk/40919/brand-spotlight-victorinox-swiss-army-watches. The Victorinox Swiss Army watches will be available for sale starting June 2.

SusanAIs that June 2 east or west coast time? just so i can figure what time it will be live in Australia. I don't mind the brand spotlight, even if some watches are not as competitive on price as normal; I understand sometimes you have to just roll with whatever your supplier is offering. Maybe start a poll to see what other brand spotlight's the community may want to see!!

JAoneGreat idea regarding the poll! The collection will be available June 2 west coast time.
