The description and specs seem conflicting... all this talk about a "14 bit" panel with 4 trillion colors possible....
But then the specs list it as not even true 10-bit (8 bit + extensions) capable of only ~1 billion colors. So then when is it? Can this actually display 4 trillion unique colors? Or a fraction at 1 billion? Or is it just the standard 16 million with the optical illusion to make it look like 1 billion possible?
I could very well be talking out my ass - pro level monitors aren't my specialty - but according to the specs this has no way of actually displaying 4 trillion colors..... right?
Ultimately I suppose this isn't a terrible price for the resolution alone.. from what I remember the Dells in this resolution are about the same price without all the fancy "14 bit" talk. I believe that they list the same 8bit + FRC. It's just that the marketing talk here seems... deceptive? Or at least mistaken.
urwis123eh, my gamer-centric monitors both have 1ms response time.
I've used up to 8ms without really noticing personally, though anything over 10ms is getting to perceptible levels.
