Clear, Transparent Sound

The Violectric V800 ensures your headphones have what they need to sound their best. Equipped with the highly regarded PCM1792 D/A converter, a SRC4392 chip for resampling, and a Tenor 7702 for the USB receiver chip, this DAC produces a neutral, musical sound with excellent detail, staging, and left-right balance. Plus, it’s all packaged in a slick-looking aluminum chassis with laser-engraved labeling.

Note: At checkout, you’ll have your choice of feet colors between Black, Gold, and Silver. You'll also have your choice of models between the 115 V or the 230 V version. A user-installable XMOS option can also be purchased directly from Violectric.

German Engineering

Made of strong, Nextel-coated aluminum, the back panel is equipped with four switchable digital inputs and a coaxial digital output, while the black anodized front panel features LED displays for active input and lock, and a switchable mute button. With an oversized toroidal transformer and extensive internal power conditioning, this DAC offers an outstanding dynamic range of 120 dB and a total harmonic distortion of -112 dB. It performs especially well with the Violectric V200 amp and headphones like the Audeze LCD-3 or Hifiman HE-6.
