The Final Say: More Power, Less Distortion

A revamped version of Vioeletric’s highly regarded HPA V280 headphone amp, the HPA V280 Final Edition delivers endgame performance with more power and less distortion than its predecessor. These improvements are owed to an updated circuitry and four built-in amplifiers, which Violeletric optimized based on internal testing, as well as outside tests from award-winning audio brands Lake People and Niimbus. The result is even lower noise, plus an increased damping factor, output voltage, and output power. Sporting balanced outputs, the German-made HPA V280 Final Edition can get the most out of any pair of headphones—no matter how hard they are to drive.

Note: This run is limited to the V280 Final Edition in 115V .

All v280s can be switched between 115v and 230v with a switch on the board(it should be factory set to 115V). Take a look at the v280FE PCB photo I posted on Drop. This photo has a red slide switch...Read More

Question
Will you be offering any versions of the higher output Violectric models? I just need a little more juice than the V280 can provide for some of my headphones.

"more juice" than the V280 is really far past the point of diminishing returns for a headphone amp. I'd seriously consider a reasonably priced speaker amp, which has the added benefit of letting...Read More
