Received my V280 today. The chassis color is a powder coated dark gray, and the engraving on the faceplate is different from the picture above. Not a big deal. Anyway, I only have about 30 minutes of listening with one specific set of headphones so far, the Beyerdynamic DT990 (600 ohm). They're power hungry and IMO sound awful with everything, except for classical. If an amplifier can drive these, it can drive anything. With no pre-gain set, this amp was driving the DT990s with ease and had power to spare. Anything past the 3 o'clock mark was too much.
In conclusion, two thumbs up.
