EMmZYes, and loving the V280. I should also note the design is different to that shown in Drop's original photos...

Different front faceplate design
Different (cheaper?) XLR connectors (no "PUSH" button/clip)
Different (cheaper?) RCA connectors (silver finish, not the original gold-plated ones)

The coaxial DAC has a gold-plated RCA connector which really contrasts with the cheaper silver RCA connectors below it. Although I didn't order the coaxial DAC, I ordered optical(!). Also glad to have received the smooth black casing. I don't like the powder-coated grey they use on some units.

EMmZI can't speak for Drop or Violectric so I don't know why they told you that. Sounds like you were the victim of a stock shortage/miscalculation? Mine arrived on 5 January 2021. Actually it arrived in Australia on 28 December 2020 but it takes an extra week to get to the right side of the continent.
