Does anybody else experience horrid motion blur with the GN32LD? The slightest onscreen movement smears and leaves trails and ghosting of previous frames. That is despite settings, resolution, and refresh.

Has anyone tried this monitor with the newly updated nvidia driver + 1xxx/2xxx series cards for the g-sync? I am getting vivid flickering at bright areas- wanna know other's experience!

morningcerealSame on both Nvidia and amd... Flickering in bright spots... Monitor works great without freesync and the hassle of returning was not worth it but wish I spent extra for Acer or Asus.

@ViotekUSA many moons ago, the ICC profiles were in development... have they been released?

kjlingWe have switched away from .icc development and are looking in to pre-purchase calibration as well as hardware calibration options.
While current technology requires a HUGE investment in order to offer hardware calibration we are looking in to doing this in a much different (more efficient) fashion.
Offering a plethora of .icc profiles is not really user friendly and would simply pass the "duty" of calibration to our customers; which is the exact opposite of customer-friendly.
We are working on updating our current lines including upgrading the backlighting to decrease hot spots as well as increase our natural calibration and color gamut.

ViotekUSAHonestly a v nice monitor for the price, only thing holding it back a tad is calibration.. if the colors and gamma etc were resolved at factory, I would recommend it to non-gamer friends looking for a big monitor. Blacks and colors need quite a bit of tweaking out of the box as it stands. Guess we'll just figure it out ourselves ...

I was looking at this to use with a N 1080. I have looked a lot at 35 UW and 32 monitors and G-Sync is just too damn high. A LOT of people and reviews say this resolution at 32" just has one problem...desktop their description was just not as crisp, clear etc one even said down right fuzzy or out of focus because of low pixel density. This was a review on the LG 850 that people rave about. Whats your opinion for desktop as well as gamin.
ps does this monitor use pwm for backlight? If so I thought almost all manufactures quit using it.

etrinI bought this monitor about five months ago, and I can attest that the desktop isn't ideal at this pixel density, but otherwise this monitor is pretty impressive. This monitor does NOT use PWM. Games look incredibly sharp and smooth at 1440p, and videos are just as stunning. If you're a content creator, graphic designer, or editing documents on the regular, there are a ton of better options out there, but for a gaming monitor with these specs, you can't beat it at this price point.

etrin32" 2560x1440 is ~92pixels per inch **(this monitor)**
27" 2560x1440 is ~108pixels per inch
While it may not sound like a lot it is slightly noticable.
For comparison:
32" ultrawide 3440x1440 is ~117pixels per inch
34" ultrawide 3440x1440 is ~110pixels per inch
24" 1920x1080 is ~92pixels per inch
23" 1920x1080 is ~96pixels per inch
22" 1920x1080 is ~100pixels per inch
21" 1920x1080 is ~105pixels per inch
Most common 1080p monitors are 23-24Inches and this is on par with the pixel density of those.

SinyorDuckyMossWhy don't you use online dollar converter? I'm Canadian and I still have to use it to get the real price for me.
As an alternative, you might check out the Pixio PXC32 or one of their other similar monitors. I don't have one, but they seem like a great deal, and (some) are cheaper and have comparable specs to this monitor. https://www.pixiogaming.com/pxc32

Blur180Except pixio products are riddled with problems . Viotek seems to have a better quality control in place.
ServerSlayeroh. that's too bad. Like I said, I don't have any of their products, I just thought they seemed like a good deal.

Is this in Canadian dollars? (449$) or will I actually be paying more since it’s american? I have never bought anything from Massdrop so idk what to expect. Will I have to pay border fees too? Thanks!

OhHenrieThe price listed is always in USD. Shipping and exchange rate mean that most drops don't offer any sort of discount for Canadians compared to Amazon or the likes.

GamuhMan that’s sucks. I guess it isn’t really worth buying stuff off of massdrop. I would be better off buying things off of Canadian websites. Thank you for the info :)
