For the same price, would you rather buy this or the LG34UM88C-P?
ballinwtechThe cheapest I can find on the the LG is $589.99 and the 34UM88C-P is a straight panel and runs at 60Hz. So, to answer your question I would have to say this is a much better value.

ballinwtechI bought the LG 34UC88 from Costco about three weeks ago for $700 (goes on sale $600 every so often...I actually missed it by a couple of days) and its been a great monitor.
I was using the Dell 27" 144hz G-Sync monitor before it and while the 144hz was smooth in gameplay and desktop use (the mouse cursor movement is fluuuuid), I wasn't entirely happy with the colors since it was a TN panel. I've given up the Gsync/144hz for the LG's 60-75hz IPS panel and its worth the trade off for me. Colors pop and the bump down to FreeSync 75hz (which works with my GTX 1070 btw) isn't that bad like I thought it would be.
I don't know how the LG compares to the monitor in this drop, haven't had experience with VA panels or this brand, but I'm very happy with the LG.
Maybe you can try it out from Costco and return it if you don't like it and buy this monitor next time it drops. I would rather cough up another $200-300 and deal with Costco's hassle free return policy than buy this monitor and go through an online return process if I'm not satified.

Tex-ArozziHere is a link on eBay for buydig. Brand new for $510 which is a great deal. Awesome colors and reliability and unless you solely need 144hz, the LG might be a better deal for folks who don't need the 144hz.
