Is there a review on this monitor? I'm already in the VAST 35, but I really like the freesync range of 48-144.
The VAST is higher resolution, but at 100hz and $100 more than this drop... At this point, driving a 1440 ultrawide is going to be taxing for a GPU, so i dont mind the lower resolution anyway.
I will be using the monitor mainly for gaming, but obviously, I will also use it for watching movies and maybe MS Office from time to time. Any reviews, users or web would help me decide whether to keep my bet on the VAST or switch to this.
WasabiSauceThis is an extremely new model that has very few reviews.
Of course the reviews on our similar panel the GN32Q (different firmware, similar panel, slower response time of 4ms, different exterior) are STELLER.
As this is essentially the same panel with some upgrades (1ms FASTER), some added blinky lights, a nerd-rage proof stand (VESA-75 hidden under the mount), and a gaming exterior; we expect the same raving reviews :) .
As always, any questions you can PM me, email WeCare@Viotek.com, live-chat at VIotek.com, or call us!

fjoshivanThis has Blue Light Reduction, and features overdrive Technology to reduce tearing and increase the response time. Overdrive also has Motion Blur Reduction.
1080uw actually looks far more reasonable than you'd expect. 1440uw does look better, but you give up a lot of refresh rate for that bump in resolution. As for the VAST, I'm guessing it uses the same panel that's in the Omen X35, Agon AG352UCG, and Z35p, so if you can find one of those to test, it will give you a pretty good idea of what to expect from the VAST.
Yeah i got that, I'm just saying that if i was getting less than 48 fps then i would consider that unacceptable and change my settings to get that into the 100s or higher.
I find it odd that people are concerned with the low end of the free sync feature, as framerates below 60fps will be choppy anyway.
Thats pretty good specs, good enough for me anyway.
I ordered the Acer Z301ct for 586$, but it arrived at my house broken and not even packaged at all just the stock box. Im in the process of returning it With horrible Customer service. Take it from me, DO NOT buy things like this from "iSave".
Theres no more deals like this on the Acer monitor anymore so after getting a refund, i won't be able to get a replacement.
So if I can get my money back soon enough, I'd gladly buy this Viotek monitor.
NoMoreUserNamesLeftToTakeDamn, sorry to hear that about the Acer that sucks. Hopefully they will take care of you soon and you can join in on this drop.
