40 or 48 fps puts a game well into the range of "unplayable" for me personally, so I don't think I would ever have an opportunity to test this.

The frequency range on this monitor is 48-144hz and the response time is 3ms. The fps you get from this monitor will depend on your personal system build and game your playing.

Tex-ArozziYeah i got that, I'm just saying that if i was getting less than 48 fps then i would consider that unacceptable and change my settings to get that into the 100s or higher.
I find it odd that people are concerned with the low end of the free sync feature, as framerates below 60fps will be choppy anyway.
