These are super comfortable.
EDIT, They don't last. I've had them for three months and I'm down to the jute around the sole. I'll try to upload a picture later. Definitely not going to buy these unless viscata makes the soles into something MUCH tougher.
The pictures attached are from normal wear and tear from April 16th of this year to July 20th of this year
Very nice shoe. Comfortable and lightweight. Only "gripe" I would say is that the heel portion is kind of loose, so I would say if you're looking at sizing, go either 1/2 size to maybe a full size down from your normal shoe size, that the heel has more support and the shoe will eventually break in and be comfortable all over.
These shoes/slippers have no inside heel support, just plain old fabric. My heel keeps slipping out because of no reinforcement in that area. I would not recommend this product.
Great shoe! Takes a little bit to wear them in, but that's just the nature of the material. In my opinion, this looks much better than a flip-flop in the summer, but keeps it casual. I bought these on a whim two years ago and have worn them to death. They're just now starting to show some wear (toe-holes and some light discoloration), so I'm happily buying a new pair.
No significant structural damage to the shoe itself, so I'm sure if you put in a little effort you could get these to last 3+ years with no issues. Would definitely recommend if you're on the fence!
My favorite summer shoes. Were tight the first several wears so in between I used a shoe tree. In no time the shoe trees came out and the espadrilles molded to my feet so that they are very comfortable and feel secure despite being easy to slip in and out. They elevate a linen shirt and pants.
eunuWore a hole through the canvas and soaked them through with silt and mud from hiking in northern Thailand, so I am happily buying a replacement pair.
