I have no knowledge of pens and pen collecting. I certainly don’t begrudge how anyone spends their money though. Personally I’ve spent really silly money on watches and earphones. It’s a slick pen so whatever floats your boat.

I love roller ball pens but at this price it is a joke. Three purchasers needed - like that is going to happen.

$3,400 - really? Why drops this kind of money on a single pen?

rumata13The fact that this pen is listed on Drop (The site formerly known as MassDrop) answers your question.

fenixswordSeems to be the original list price, but no evidence that they were ever listed by online shops for anywhere near that price. MD's price is probably reasonable if it really speaks to you (some tie to the art mag referenced). Would be helpful if MD noted what refill type it uses.

mrvcoOnline shops typically list at a discount. Here is one where I found a listing: https://www.penporium.com/VISCONTI-LACERBA-1913-LIMITED-EDITION-ROLLER-BALL-p/3640.htm. It is no longer available at that site, though.
Neat.
