Is it safe to clamp this sucker to a glass desk? I don't know how sensitive glass is to the forces ~ even though it is plenty strong to hold 100lbs+ on the surface no problem. I'll definitely be riding the weight limit, don't have anything below 27".

tldr; he got some wood and attached it to the table to make a different surface for the arm to attach to. probably not the most elegant solution, but pretty clever.
