Is there a way to extend the size of the C clamp? I have a thick desk and no mount fits unless I cut out a hole and do it through the grommet hole.

Logic77Seconding this. My desk is nearly 3.2" thick (Room & Board Parsons). The only clamp mount that I could find that fits on spec is the Humanscale M8, which is nearly $400.
