Definitely not a deal with $34 shipping cost to Canada...

CouloirYup, I feel your pain. There's been several drops I've wanted lately but the shipping to Canada has been ludicrously high unless you live in the USA. Here check these alternatives out, maybe you'll find something you like for less than $20:

RetromanI have a 2-way and a 3-way adjustable monitor stand, both from Monoprice, which I got for $15-18 quite awhile ago after some promo code special they had. I'm using the 3-way one for a 27" X-Star DP2710, and it holds as well as articulates very well for over a year now. Is there any real benefit in shelling out for a monitor mount like this one for single monitor applications? I actually very much like the parsimonious design of the Monoprice offerings, and I don't see any differences in functionality or capability otherwise.

realMessNope, not a big difference and if the one you already have works for you then zero reasons to pay this much unless the one you have doesn't go into portrait mode like this one does and you want that feature.
