The picture kind of looks like it's attached to a 34" LG monitor. Is the recommended 27" just for being able to use it in a vertical orientation?

ReronaIt's probably by average weight. 27" is approximately equal to the max weight it can support. Don't know why they use a size and not a weight figure for that.

ReronaHowdy! Your right about the 34" monitor being the LG. We wanted to show everyone that it can support the larger monitors that alot of people are using now. Since it is a single mount the only true concern would be the weight limit which I believe we even pushed a little with the LG. But it was still solid.
