I'm totally disappointed with the mount. It won't stay up with my screen on it and I don't have anything bigger than what is within the specs (my screen is 27").

hanmanjYou have to adjust the gas spring nut by UNSCREWING it until the monitor holds. I initially had the same response you did until I adjusted that nut. RTM!

Defenestratusas long as the screen is less than 20lbs, it'll hold. This monitor arm fails for my 27 inch imac.
