Howdy everyone. I am here to flex my ergonomics again.
TL;DR This desk is great if you have a dedicated standing desk area.
First off, this a heavy desk. It is not light and when you start piling things onto it like monitors and monitor stands it gets even heavier. The problem is not the weight, I think most people could handle it. What I don't like about it is how you are forced to move the desk.
The desk has two levers, one on each side, that you have to first squeeze then yank upwards to lift the desk. My boss actually threw her back out lifting this desk because of how UNERGONOMIC it is. You are basically doing a T-pose in order to lift and there is no easy way to lift but with your back. And guess what, you are not supposed to lift with your back.
I have this workstation but I have it upright as a dedicated stand station, I do not move it because it can actually cause you to get acid reflux as well. Try lifting something heavy with your arms all the way spread apart, it does not work and it is not fun (don't try this, please. It sucks!)
So, if you are looking at buying something like a sit stand desk, get something electronic, that moves up and down with a button press. It is much more ergonomic, it is safer for your body, and it is much more reliable than yanking up. Plus, you are much less likely to throw your back out.

the frame is pretty substantial but the desktop is a plastic-clad MDF product. One of the screws anchoring the desktop to the frame had stripped out the MDF (which is an inferior but very common and cheap material), making it slightly loose and lopsided. Real wood or even plywood would have been a better choice for a device that, by its design and function puts stress on screws anchored into a material like MDF. It would have cost more, sure, but quality will always be sacrificed to pad the manufacturer‘s margin.

Anyone know of any good sit/stand desks in the UK that can support a high end (heavier than normal PC) liquid cooled PC as well as 2 or 3 widescreen monitors or an ultrawide monitor this one is bad (has a cutout then the lowered keyboard tray thing from the early to mid 2000’s (solid single piece top would be nice). Another thing is that this drop is apparently not worth it as it is alot cheaper on Amazon.

Mine should up damaged what do I do from here? It's fine but it's not ya know? It had a hole in the box and figured it probably be fine but it's totally scratched as you can see
