Just to reiterate Nelson's previous comment:
The V-Moda headset is a legit and authentic product with valid warranty.
If you have any problems during the warranty period, we are happy to accommodate you with repairs/replacements.
what about the Immortal Lifetime Program, are we eligible for that?

However, we still need clarification on whether or not the V-Moda Crossfade M100s from this drop will have serial numbers. Users from the previous drop stated their's did NOT have serial numbers, and came in CASIO boxes rather than the standard retail box.
Without serial numbers, we do not have access to direct warranty through the manufacturer (V-Moda) after our 1 year warranty through Massdrop ends. Additionally, as rpraprotnik pointed out, without the serial numbers we are not eligible for the Immortal Lifetime Program.
If you can confirm this drop, unlike the previous one, will have the serial numbers intact, I will back this without hesitation.
I backed out of this drop just because of this. I trust Massdrop, I've seen many different drops with many different headphones. My friends bought some and they were ALWAYS genuine and came in their original boxes... except the M100s. Unfortunately, if the serial numbers are removed, I cannot trust the distributor.
Agree with ConnorMD, what happens if we receive the product without serial numbers? Will we be able to send back to Massdrop for a full refund including return shipping costs if Vmoda wont confirm that it is a legit unit? I too am in if we can get a guarantee that the units will have valid serial numbers.
Unfortunately, I'm cancelling order. It appears that confirmation of units being shipped with serial numbers intact cannot be obtained. Regardless of pricing, these units should have full manufacturer warranty as indicated on V-Moda web site, not just what Massdrops honors. It is reasonable for these to be shipped in other than retail packaging for cost savings, however, the absence of any registration code / serial number should negate this particular buy.
Like DougEg, I too am cancelling my order. I do not want to be stiffed on the warranty just because of different packaging and the omission of the serial number. I have emailed the support staff and hope that it would go through.
