this says after 200 votes theyll contact the vendor for a drop.
when is that going to happen?
i signed up specifically since someone told me it was a good place to buy vaporizers and glass.
why cant i even find vaporizers unless i search for them by name?
this site is not easy to use and im regretting the decision to try it already.

I'm upset because the ticker of how many people have wasted their time here continues to climb and yet this site won't take down this misleading page. Im trying to get them to fix something because misleading folks into thinking they can get the volcano here, as this drop still existing with a way to sign up for it leads them to believe, wastes their time and hurts their ability to plan.
People keep showing up here. I know it isn't going to happen, but I can be upset that this site continues to mislead people.

So when I said
"I'm new to this site, but from my experience, you post something and then nobody responds. I hope the same doesn't go for the drops."
I was right to suspect the site didn't deliver.
Despite that while I'm typing this I can read in the same page
"Interested in this drop? Request it! After 200 requests, we’ll contact the vendor to launch the drop."
and
"390 users have requested this product."
this will not happen. This web page is lying to us so if you are reading through and you aren't sure if you should make a user profile here's the new question: Do you like signing petitions on change.org? If so, sign up for massdrop. If you don't like signing documents that nobody else will respond to, go away.

An update for the group, the first batch of the order has been received by our warehouse and shipped to group members. The second batch of the order was shipped by the vendor today. Based on current estimates the order will be arriving at our warehouse on 9/2. Our warehouse team has been forwarded tracking info and will be standing by, ready to get these packed up and turned around as soon as they come in.
Sometimes shipments get delayed en route, not to worry as we will keep the group posted throughout the process and notify you all if anything causes delay.
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 9/3 or sooner if something comes up.

Thanks again for joining this drop! With your help we were able to make it successful for the community. We've just submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Volcano Desktop Vaporizer and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them directly to you! The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 9/3.
Rest assured that we we will provide you all with updated information regarding the status of your order throughout the process. You can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 8/26.

For future reference, solid valve all the way. Being able to control your bag size and ability to use 3rd party bags is absolutely essential if you plan to smoke regularly. Use heat-safe, food-safe bags from the grocery store (turkey bags). They're affordable and accessible. The convenience of the easy-valve doesn't translate long-term. If you're an occasional or event/party smoker, then the easy makes more sense.
Upkeep for the solid valve is as easy as unscrewing some parts and soaking in iso once every other month or so - basic maintenance you would be performing on any other device . The scrape you can easily recover from is lovely as well. A friend of my has had a volcano for ~8 years and I'm finally jumping in on this drop. The only parts he's had to replace on the solid valve are the screen and pieces lost due to drunk idiots. It's pretty remarkably well put together.
