Great news! Vortex let us know that the group's order is on its way to our warehouse now. Based on the shipping schedule we were given, we are expecting the shipment to arrive by the end of this week.
The order will arrive in a bulk shipment and our warehouse team is ready to break it down into individual packages and send them out to you as soon as it arrives.

It looks like I may have received an extra 1.5 unit key rather than a 1.75 unit, so it's possible that you and others may get two options for your capitalization locking needs. Did earlier drops contain both stepped and standard caps locks?
As it stands now, I have no options. Hopefully Massdrop support will help me sort things out.

Did you get the automated reply back about the Thanksgiving holidays? I sent an email to support Sunday evening and I'm still waiting.

Hi everyone,
It appears that Vortex produced Cherry profile keycaps instead of the OEM profile (that we were expecting). We're extremely sorry about the confusion- all of our order forms indicate that they're supposed to be OEM, but a miscommunication between the manufacturing/sales groups resulted in them being Cherry.
We've asked about another production run, but unfortunately the setup time, costs and delivery schedules are prohibitive.
As a result, we're offering all group buy participants the following two options:
Option A - "They're not what I wanted, but I like them anyways" Keep the keycaps and we'll refund $10 to your credit card.
Option B - "I hate them and have no use for them, give me back my money" Send the keycaps back to us (we'll cover the shipping cost and any taxes/duties that you may have paid) and we'll give you a full refund.
Please email support@massdrop.com with your preference and they'll process your request.

MarkHi Mark, I've emailed support@massdrop.com on the 27/09 and 8/10 about option A and have not received any reply from Massdrop. A reply would be appreciated. Disappointingly the set does not work on my CM Storm Novatouch as the keys are too short for one of the rows.

crazystu @crazystu: I want them for my CM Storm Quickfire XT, as I've sadly missed the drop. Which ones did you get, the front printed ones? If so, I would like to buy them off of you, if you want to sell them.
For people with similar questions, just to inform you: I've emailed Massdrop about any returns and/or a re-drop and I got the following answers: "... [about returns] Unfortunately the best thing you can do is to click the request button. When the drop becomes available again, you will be notified by e-mail" "... [about re-drop] This drop is already in high demand and we are working with the vendor to see when we can run this drop again"

I'm going to assume everyone has the issue with stems showing all over the keycaps that are larger than 1x1. Is there any way to get Massdrop to get a better set or are we stuck with these caps? I mean I'm fine as I never really look at my keyboard anyways but it's never too bad to get a quality set.

Been using the Cherry profile set on my QFR for a few months now (since the last drop) and it's been great. Took a few days to get used to the Cherry profile, but I use OEM profile at work so it's a change.

I kinda want to advise against these.
I got the side printed ones a few months back and they're already starting to fade, on a side printed one. Haven't even washed the caps only used compressed air

Thanks for the link! I was aware of the shorter height, I guess what I'm looking for is reasons why people chose one or the other. Your reasoning sounds good though! @AndrewLekashman are these Cherry keycaps thicker than the OEM profile keycaps?

The keycap set I got was cherry profile. I can't say for sure if the OEM set is made with the same inner lip but I can't imagine it wouldn't be. AFAIK the only differences in OEM and Cherry profile is the overall height of the keycaps.
