Just got a status update email, once again trying to pass off the incorrect keycaps as an upgrade whilst making no mention of the major loss in functionality. No solution offered other than to cancel. Pretty disappointed as I would have much preferred to have the correct keycaps made available, but I guess this error would have been too costly for them to fix properly.
Sent in a request to cancel my order. Not sure how that's going to work since it's already shipped and in transit.

my problem is that I don't want to cancel and then have to wait some unknown amount of time for a new keyboard. If the keyboard that arrives doesn't have rust issues on the plate, I'd like to keep it, but it would be nice to have an option for the keycaps I ordered and expected.

I know what you mean. We joined this drop because we wanted the advertised product. It probably isn't a stretch to say that many of us chose the Pok3r for the extra functions packed into a 60% format.
As I stated earlier, I would have been happy if they made the correctly labeled keycaps available to us at an appropriate cost (I'm not expecting it for free). As thing stand now there isn't even any way to buy the keycaps ourselves to restore the missing functionality.
Personally I'll be out around $15 due to exchange rates and credit card fees if I'm allowed to cancel. Otherwise return shipping from Australia will probably be $50-100 and I don't see Massdrop covering that.
