The long awaited POK3R Mechanical Keyboard from Vortex brings a serious set of improvements to the world of 60% keyboards as well as its predecessor, the Poker II. The good news is all of the aspects of the Poker II that made it the clear choice of the mechanical keyboard community—specifically the minimalist form factor, Cherry MX Switches, and PBT keycaps—are exactly the same Read More

We know that it’s a long wait for people that didn’t make it into the first Batch of Pok3rs, so we’ve worked it out so that everyone in Batch 2 (Estimated July Delivery) will be receiving a special modifier set with their keyboard.
I see it more as a consolation prize for the second group, seeing as how they are waiting 2.5 months longer than the first group to get their keyboard. They are paying the same amount and waiting much, much longer to get their keyboard. That being said, the whole set can easily be found for around $10 bucks, definitely not worth complaining about.
And lets be honest, we all replace our keycaps with expensive keysets anyways, I rarely see a stock Poker anywhere.
livingspeedbumpThe stock keys are nice though... I really wish there was a stealth option. Not saying it's worth complaining batch 1 isn't getting the rgb modifiers just wanted to addon it's sometimes hard to have an excuse to get a keyset to replace them because their quality.
Great news everyone!
The May shipment of the keyboard arrived our warehouse right before the end of the day today.
Even though it arrived slightly past our daily courier pick up time, our warehouse guys still stayed late just to have most of the orders packed. Just so we can get as many out as possible first thing tomorrow.
As it stands, we will be one week ahead of our original schedule. Can't fault that! Now if someone can throw some endorsements my way for this update, that'd be pretty awesome :)
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 5/27 or sooner regarding the June shipment batch.
I want to say UPS (I haven't ordered anything from Newegg in a while), but I'm not sure what service they use specifically (SurePost vs. other methods). For such a short distance though it's definitely transported by truck I would imagine.
Just a quick update.
The eagle has just landed at JFK Airport in NY, and it is currently going through the customs clearing process. We will be receiving this shipment within 24 hours after we get the green light from the US customs.
Our warehouse guys are all on standby, and we are ready to get the keyboards out to everyone as soon as they come in.
Again with the 2-3 month wait times to save 10 bucks vs anywhere else.
Massdrop I want to give you my money so that you make your cut, but I'll find more than your savings on the ground in the time it takes you to ship.
This is a consistent problem across drops and routinely makes me no have a need for your service. PLEASE do better about this in later drops.
TechIntakeThank you for that review! I had been thinking I wanted something heavier than my Blues and your video made me feel happier about my choice with the Clears.
Another review just came out and the caps definitely don't look as thick as the ones that Rhinofeed had posted... These also look thinner than the stock caps on the Poker II.

New Review:
Worse comes to worse, you use a drop ship service like AusPost Shopmate when buying from Amazon. I've used it before for products that don't ship here.
tactile - designed to be perceived by touch.
when I think of a click I hear it.
when I think of a bump I feel it.
I'm typing on cherry mx blues and they are clicky not bumpy
when I type on clears I feel a bump but no click.
MayDayM3I'm on mx blue's right now as well and I can barely feel the "bump" on it. If i go super slow I definitely hear the click then feel a slight bump, but barely. So I'm gunna have to agree with ya on that! once the clears come in ill have a way better comparison.
