I got a vibe a couple of weeks ago and so far I am enjoying it :D
I have since put some rgb on it, just like the review samples, and am waiting to get my switches so that I can swap the Cherry out with something good. Hopefully some holtites will fit to make it swappable!
Poent The board is equipped for rgb like the review samples but they just didn't put them on. The only down side is having to desolder the switches since the stock set is all black and you cant see the back lighting.
Epic_EnkiduHow do you control the colors after you soldered the RGB LEDS in? External software? Keystrokes? My Vortex Core also had holes for the RGB LEDs but I never bothered soldering them in because I'm not sure how to control them afterwards.
rjsfI don't know if the Core is the same as the the Vibe, which is the same as the Pok3r.
This is the RGB control for the Pok3r RGB that works with the Vibe
Epic_EnkiduHey, that ebay link was for RGB leds that don't have feet extending out. How did you manage to solder them to the pads that were on the edge of the hole?
rjsfThanks, you're right. I ordered them and I was able to unfold the legs on one, but took a sh!t ton of time to do just one, lol. I just used small pliers and a cutter to pry the leg out. Did you use some special tool to unfold them?
