Received mine today, though it hasn't updated as delivered yet. Nice watch. First automatic I've owned and though the manual doesn't seem to know what direction clockwise is, setting it up and getting it on time was pretty easy. Going to have to punch a new hole into the band though cause my wrists are waaaaay too small.

Just want to say, I have a Vostok-EU (bought it right here on MD) and I wanna tell you--its a killer watch--and it greatly exceeded my expectations. They're just a tad on the dressy side for me--or I'd buy a whack more of 'em. If you're not hip to the company or the line, you should check out their site. They make a ton of watches--I was impressed!

Some folks are just uninformed. I've got both a Vostok amphibia and a Vostok-Europe watch.
If you take the back off a Vostok-Europe watch and a regular $90 Vostok amphibia watch you're going to see that the VE's Vostok movement was completely taken apart, parts cleaned up and polished, oiled, and put back together.
Something that is *never* done at the Vostok factory where the movement is actually made.
Not only that, Vostok-Europe uses modern cases and designs with only the stock movements sourced from Vostok itself.
VE watches are pretty good for what they are.
Damn people, try using Google once in a while for something other than porn.

The Russian watch forums speak highly of V-E watches. (Those same forums are also candid about Russian watch issues.) What are the warranty details? Domestic or international service centers?

S2KiI bought this the last (I think) drop about a year ago, and it quit working. A little piece of plastic had gotten into the gearing I think, at any rate, it is warranted by a company back East I can't remember, I contacted them (first massdrop, then Voskok Europe's contact form, they gave me the contact info for the warrantor) They gave me their address, I sent it to them, and had it back about 6 weeks later and it was in perfect shape and worked very well. So I can vouch for the warranty, easy as pie

Not sure of all negative comments. This is a $200 watch and for this price it's a great timepiece!
I own 3 in different colors and love them!
