Nice looking knife and it seems very well built, the perfect size for me. I carried a small sebenza for years and recently lost it although I prefer misplaced, since I keep hoping it will turn up. Anyway based upon the materials it seems like a fair price, however I do wish it was a USA made product.

PatShepSmall Sebenza with carbon fiber = my grail. If I could stop buying multiples knives (collection up to 26 items now) I could perhaps purchase it. But it's harder to stay committed to one knife!

BobrazI used to think the Sebenza was a awesome knife too until I saw the Cold Steel comparison video.... I was extremely surprised to see how miserably it failed in what I believe to be a very fair and honest test by Cold Steel.

Okieneckthis is not real advertising, its just a way to skew the market into their favor by making up tests that are NOT standardized to make them look better to the average consumer. plus that test really doesn't make the other knives bad at all.

anonomousfirst, I have no idea what you're talking about when you say not real advertising do you mean not a real test? in some cases it is not good advertisement because I have seen Cold Steel Knives lose in a couple of those videos, granted it was two knives twice as big and twice as heavy. also, I never said that the tests made all the other knifes that lost bad. the sebenza on the other hand I think definitely performs like a piece of crap in that test considering it holds less weight than almost any other knife they've ever tested and fails with 2 different brand new knives. that by no means is the end-all-be-all test 4 folders. Although lock stregth is a big part of how good a kife is that test has nothing to do with Edge retention, materials, fit and finish or overall appeal, all things that matter to me when buying a knife . Cold Steel is definitely not my favorite knife maker but I think it's pretty much common knowledge that they have one of if not the strongest lockback designs with their Tri-ad even though im no a big fan of it. I much prefer framelocks. A knife that costs as much as the sebenza should not preform worse than basically every other popular knife in any test in my mind. All that said the Kershaw Tilt is my grail and i wouldnt care if you could break it in half with your pinkys! LOL

Okieneckgoto bladeforums.com and read about the tests.
its the same type of advertising for oil. they use a test which is not standard practice or a standardised test to test oil. but the test results appear logical from a consumer stand point because it looks like its an advantage to pass the test which in real world environment is completely different results. wouldn't expect everyone to realize this

anonomousDude, I don't need to go to bladeforum to understand the concept of hanging weights off of a knife. Its not Chinese arithmetic. I get it, this test is tailored to their strong suit. My statement still stands.
