Picked them up as cheap spares. Actually, I really like them. The PBT is nice and the colors are great. Not sure why the custom ABS keys are the price they are now.
the colors scheme matches most setups and although the caps themselves have a slightly coarse feeling to them they feel nice when typing or when simply resting your fingers on your board.
I like these. Dropped the set on my Durgod K310 to try something new. They're just the typical profile one might expect from a keyboard, so nothing too special there. But, I like the look of these. Pictures below:
Got these for my CTRL, which was my first keyboard with decent PBT keycaps, so that's all I have to compare it to.
By comparison, these aren't as textured or as tactile as the stock CTRL caps. The surface isn't as pebbled as the CTRL caps, although they're still satisfying to the touch. They definitely feel smoother, but that's not to say that they're smooth or slippery. The texture just isn't as pronounced as the CTRL caps.
To my eyes, they look and feel as thick as the CTRL caps. Unlike the CTRL caps, which has rounded corners on all of the keys, these have pointed, sharp edges. That part is just an observation, as you're unlikely to ever contact that part of the key, but it may speak to a quality comparison between an inexpensive set like this and a pricier set.
They're an excellent value. Aside from being priced lower than many of the other sets being offered on Drop, and unlike some of the other keycap sets, they include the extra keys like numeric, ISO, modifiers, etc. at the base price. In short, these caps will fit virtually any keyboard you throw them on, including those with odd sizes.
While I prefer the tactile feel of the CTRL caps in general, I have no other issues with these caps, and would have no hesitation in recommending them. They're thick, solid PBT caps that didn't break the bank, and look great. Although superficial, I really like the color scheme and contrast of the set.
