which one is better? this crush 80 vs Ctrl high profile?
adorama"Better" is an oversimplification as it's always going to be a matter of preference. But I think most people would say the Crush 80 has much more new features at a competitive price and it will be easy to get a a good sound profile out of the build. The CTRL is a cool looking keyboard that requires a bit more work to get a good sound out of, but it has a certain look that some people are just going to prefer.

Ghost_of_MI’d agree with this 100% budget/mid keyboards have, in the last few years, become excellent. having both, this fella is the one I’d recommend. Unless you just like the CTRL that much, there’s just more value here.

I bought the “beta” of this from wob for $155 postage paid (blue pro). Came with a ton of case candy, seen below. appears it is included in the drop here too. if you liked the rainy you’ll like this. It’s darn nice. I kept the lightly modded rainy as my main, but that’s largely personal preference. Here are some copied detailed specs: $155 makes this product the best cost-effective CNC TKL Keyboard. The overall finishing and quality of this keyboard is able to compete with $280+ keyboards. Although this is a beta test, the products we offer are well-finished and tested (Mass production, with warranties included. This is not a clearance sale, and the keyboards we are offering are new and unopened.) Crush80 Beta carried over the most praised features from its predecessor Rainy75:
  • CNC aluminum body & cut-out
  • Glittering embedded plaque variants in the backweight
  • Vibrant color set for aluminum body and keycaps
  • Split space compatible PCB (Positioning board available for purchase)

As ever, Google will give more information than the weird Drop sales blurb does. I'd link a certain site for more concise info (including instantly available stock for $20 more) but that's understandably illegal to do here. What's impossibly lacking is what TYPE of switches come installed. Specs have me assuming linear, but I'm unable to find anything while waiting in my car for a doctor's appointment haha. If some rep would update the listing with switch type and a sentence or three detailing the specifics on the difference between the Lite and standard edition, that would help people make an easier, informed purchase. It's exasperating that this is *genuinely* a problem on every single listing in this sub-category.

ClaridFor a place that bills itself as an enthusiasts marketplace, it sure doesn’t give them what they need to make informed decisions. there have been several audio products with no pictures of available ports/connections.
