Hey Guys, Anyone know the difference between the Wolf Viceroy and the Wolf Roadster or is the main difference just aesthetics. I have noticed here on the forum that The Heritage uses the 2.1 module vs the 2.7 module for the Viceroy. The major difference is that the 2.1 module has a set amount of rotations per day (900 or 1800 for bidirectional), whereas the Viceroy is controllable from 300-1200 turns per day (or double that for bidirectional). So I am kinda stuck in making a decision. I intend to get the 8 watch winder and any feedback would be great.

Spikey12Late response to this but, basically, it depends on your watches and how much you want to adhere to the recommended TPD (Turns Per Day). Depending on the movement, the recommended TPD will differ, for example, the very popular Valjoux 7750 movement winds only clockwise and needs at least 800 TPD. Using the bidirectional option for this movement will NOT wind the watch as the movement will not wind in a counter-clockwise direction. Search on Barrington or Orbita's sites or check out links below for interactive / static databases of watch movements and TPD: https://www.barringtonwatchwinders.com/turns-per-day/, https://www.orbita.com/winder-support/ and static table here: (Although you have to look carefully at this table as the watch brands are not separated very well) https://www.orbita.com/winder-support/. Basically, if I had more than a few watches and I wore a different watch each day, I would look for the watch winder with the most options for TPD esp if the watches had different kinds of movements. If TPD is too esoteric for you, or you only collect watches with, say, ETA 2824 movements, then just get the winder thas has fewer TPD options, cheaper or easier to operate.
