Can you guys share your experience with WOLF customer service? I've enquired about Viceroy Winder months ago and haven't received any response. I'm seeing this to be a trend judging from other comments here.
Do you have positive/negative experience? Would you recommend their support service?
Thank you in advance for sharing.
draynHey, they responded quickly; within a couple of days requesting: 1. Proof of purchase, 2. Picture of the Serial No. , 3. Updated Contact information. The following day, after I sent them the requested info, they emailed me a pre-paid UPS return label with RA#. I have already shipped it off; eta 15 May 2019. We'll see what happens next! Btw, I contacted them via both the clickable link on their website and email address "inquiry@wolf1834.com"; I received my response via the email address. Oh and thanks for the "Good luck." Hopefully won't need it....
FSEChangThat's great! Seems like a solid customer service on this occasion. Can I ask what made you decide to contact Wolf directly and not go via Drop customer service (I think MD would be able to accommodate your claim too, or...?)?
draynI usually default directly to the the manufacturer, then go to the distributor if the manufacturer asks to work with them or if they do't want to be bothered with it.
draynI had a Wolf Windsor Single Winder that stopped working after a few years. It was out of warranty. I offered to pay for replacement parts but they declined. They said since it was out of warranty, the only thing they could do was offer a 30 percent discount on the purchase of a new unit from their site. That's far more expensive for me versus potentially fixing it. I got the feeling they don't build or repair anything in the US - the best they can do is replace an entire unit when they choose to.
