Purchased this board with Gateron blue switches, and later swapped to Kailh Box white switches. I like the angle of the board, light effects are very customizable, and the 60% format with arrow keys is super portable and functional. Overall a good starter mech but I did have to put a little bit of extra work to make it work for me:
1) QA problem: Keys 6 and 9 were not functioning, and when I took the board apart I discovered that the hotswap socket contacts for both weren't soldered on one side. Worth an RMA to some, but if you already happen to have solder, the iron, and the will, it's an easily remedied issue. Still not ideal for 99% of general customers expecting full functionality out of the box.
2) Lightly lubed plate stabilizers, and unclipped; I chose to juice 'em up with a bit more lubricant, bandaid mod under them, and clip the stab wings (?). While you're in the case, a layer of cloth tape as thin padding between the case and PCB reduced the rattle a bit more.
3) Center flex on the case and PCB cannot be unnoticed, especially if you don't use a large mat underneath. If you have spare rubber feet (from another keyboard case you aren't using), you can stick them between the two larger rubber feet on this case to brace. If you can find one thin enough for between the front feet, even better.
Edit - 4) Discovered another QA problem: one of the hotswap sockets (under 7) was actually soldered to the PCB upside down. I didn't actually notice this the first time, but this ended up being an issue with switches that have a longer bottom housing pole/stem (?), like the Drop Halo Trues I purchased, since the housing pushes against the hotswap socket body and the switch/key above doesn't sit flush. Shaved down the offending part to address this defect, but should probably just desolder the socket and flip it.
