I did a bunch of research too.... Yes, the bass is supposed to be quite heavy, but not so much that the mids and highs are compromised. I've used a bunch of different IEMs in the past (and currently all I have are basic Apple buds). I found the Klipsch S4s to be rather flimsy, though the sound was great. Most of my listening happens at my desk (Audio Technica AD-700s), but I've been wanting something solid for when I'm on the go. What sold me on these was the reports of excellent build quality. At half-price, I really can't complain; it looks like a great deal.

S4 is indeed flimsy, but it hasn't given me issues yet and I havent been able to find another pair (in a similar price range) that offers similar sound quality.

Do you think this is going to offer better sound?

@dlpowered89 No, the sound is likely not technically "better" than the S4s. That said, I don't think they are going to be "worse," either. Just different: bass-heavy. Whether or not they suit you will really depend on what you use them for and what you're listening to. These look to be sturdy toss-around IEMs for general casual listening. If you need to do more precise listening, you should probably stick with the S4s. (Or get OEMs.)
