the pants while very nice don't have a fly. this is problematic in use but I feel it gives it better durability, less to go wrong... but that's just my thinking.
they both fit well, only wore the pants overnight, and just tried on the shirt, but have no doubt they will work well in the coming cold days ahead
Edit: Washed them a few times now and no piling (yet). Good in the cold as a baselayer. Glad I got these. I do like my saxx blackwool base layer pants because they have a fly and the pocket for the boys over these pants but they do well anyways.
