I don't see how the benefits of something being wool are completely negated with the inclusion of a small percentage of another material. Especially something like nylon.

liurobsI agree - nylon's pretty commonly added to a lot of wool items to increase their durability with almost no detraction from the quality, feel, or warmth. E.g., Billy Reid's Bond Peacoat (and many high-quality topcoats) has nylon in it to make it sleeker and more durable and most #mensware dudes consider that a solid item.
