I just received mine and I love it - looks amazing! It's a little stiff. Could I treat it with neatsfoot oil? Also, should I take care not to get it wet?

If you bend it a little bit, it will soften up. That's what I did to the samples and they very quickly softened. I would take care to not get it wet as it may affect it. Unless you like that look, which I do! A little less precious. :-)
