Hasn't this Group Buy got another 3 Days left on it, yet I just got my Visa Card raped just now by DROP. So there isn't anymore Group Buys being run here you get charged immediately for this purchase before the GB even ends? This has been the third time DROP has done this to me, ignoring their own time line specifications. Is Trump working for you now? That could only be the explanation when ongoing lies and stealing money early in the contract becomes a normal activity for DROP. You have to really be down in the sewer in taking money already before the Group Buy ends, hence why waste time buying anything from here in the first place? You are no longer a Group Buy business and you don't follow your own deadlines that you list. New form of shady business is happening here and no one has bothered to call them out on it yet.

ElrickIf being charged now or three days from now is that big of a financial burden, your priorities are off if you're spending over $200 on a keyboard.

MTBonifaceFor any business that publicly POST on their website, the deadlines then publishes that the money will ONLY be collected after (not before) that deadline expires. In the United States such blatant lies warrants a court seating to claim damages and compensation in such matter, without fail. So whether it's fine to rip-off customers from overseas and leaving their own US citizens alone, then that would explain everything here. If a Company fails to follow their own rules and promises, then why bother trusting them about anything at all?

ElrickIt's called a card authorization hold. This is common in all businesses everywhere. There is nothing political about this.

NachiYet despite me actually cancelling this purchase before the deadline ends on this product, DROP took the money straight out of the Visa Card immediately. With no response from them other than to show a cancelled Purchase being registered in the Transaction Area, in their "CANCELLED" section. So now it looks like something being perpetrated here where the cancelled purchase is showing and recognized in their TRANSACTION Section but my money has disappeared. What type of transaction you call that, on DROP when your money is missing and they show clearly that you won't get anything at all? Wouldn't that be then known as common THEFT? Or maybe because a Company such as DROP can commit such an offense and get away with it, during Covid-19 times because they now think that most of us might all die before ever seeing anything delivered to our addresses ; ) Would this be the new Business etiquette of 2020.....

ElrickYou imagine that without shouting the key words, you cannot be understood? What, do you work for Schiff and his merry band of the permanently outraged? Whew, got that non sequitur political reference in there. My work here is done.

ElrickYour cancellation behavior is exactly the kind of purchasing behavior this is meant to prevent. Without card authorization holds, someone could make a purchase on Drop, then cancel the charge via the credit company preventing them from collecting funds, or if it was a debit card, withdraw all funds from the bank. Or someone can be using a stolen credit card, then after Drop has charged at the end of the group buy, the card company informs Drop that the card was stolen so the purchase is void. It is stated here that your card info is captured as soon as you hit check out https://helpdesk.drop.com/hc/en-us/articles/360019107134-When-is-payment-captured-from-my-account- Please update us if you intend to sue in claims court. I want to see what lawyer actually takes this case. Perhaps you should exercise the same kind of restraint and control before checking out on a product you then change your mind on. Many businesses now are no longer honoring returns or refunds. Surely it would be a better and more intelligent use of your energy than airing your outrage about a common business practice. You could even file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
