I bought a similar one to this on ebay a couple years ago and it stinks- inside. i tried everything to get rid of it and it still stinks now. not sure why. i have another Carbon fiber cigar case from Griffins that is made in Switzerland thar dows not have any odor. i wonder if these smell...?
