Not what I expected
The material quality is average. The screw holes are too large. NO mounting hardware was included. Additional mounting hardware is required compared to standard plate frames to get the plate to mount without rattling. Junk.

Not a single picture depicts how thick this frame is, nothing in the description states the thickness either, the frame is so thick that it's useless. I knew the mounting holes were big but, come on, they're huge in person and unnecessarily large. On top of that, the clearcoat is chipped on the lower right corner and has other imperfections, the edges on the back of the frame are so rough that they will scratch my car, and finally the weave is also not uniform in many places. I simply cannot use this on my car, the quality is nothing like what was described and this is nothing like a 'high-end' piece.

Looks great , well made
I use this on the rear plate for my Lexus RC-F with the matte nebula gray metallic paint-job and carbon fiber roof and spoiler. It ties it all together very well. Looks like a part of the option package for the car.

Product seems fine but...
Unable to mount with the provided mounting accessories (none). Might be good once I get about to getting what I need to mount it onto my car.

Won't fit
Tried to install this on the front and the back of my car, but it's too thick and I'll have to either let my license plate just hang there and swing around, or risk breaking the composite to make it tight. The mounting holes at also a bit too big and would require the use of washers to make it stay. Lastly, I would have liked there to be bottom mounting holes since there aren't any tabs to hold the plate in place on the bottom if it did fit. Unfortunately, both of mine are completely useless to me.

Probably fine carbon fiber. For those saying it feels cheap, etc, carbon fiber is extremely light, and thin carbon fiber flexes like any other thin material. For those complaining about state compliance, you can see pretty clearly the design choice in the pictures and should have known what it would cover. My problem is the design. The lip is so deep that it will not fit any flush mounts for plates. The holes are larger than necessary. I'm planning to get some washers to better secure it, that is if I don't end up replacing the plate frame altogether. In the meantime, I had to use spacers in the back as, while my car has slight bumps for the plate mount holes, this plate holder is still way too deep. Good thin and light carbon fiber, but applied very very poorly.

They look nice coming out of the package, but when actually installing them some pretty fundamentally awful problems come to light. These are pretty flexible by a surprisingly large amount which is definitely not quite what I would expect from a real carbon fiber. If your rear or front license plate mount has their screw holes threaded flush with the bumper’s surface, you will most certainly need to buy and include some rubber grommets or metal spacer washers on the reverse side of these frames since the whole back portion around the actual rim is hollow, so when you go to install them with just the nuts through the front of the frame will compress against the bumper, making the whole thing flex and bow outward. Obviously that alone makes them totally flawed and like a complete AutoZone cash grab of a checkout line buy. What adding the spacers or grommets is meant to will achieve is providing structural support to the frame so it won’t flex in this manner. If you don’t have those spacers on hand you will absolutely loathe the look of these things on your car/truck/whatever until you’ve obtained some. TL; DR: it’s quick and cheap and not to mention fake, AutoZone checkout line level of quality. Hugely disappointing, do not recommend.

It's definitely not fake carbon fiber if that's what you're insinuating.
