If you’re looking to maximize your keyboard’s potential in a compact layout—or if you’re just looking for a fun side project—the XD84 custom mechanical keyboard kit is a great option. With six rows, it has a full set of function keys and arrow keys, but it’s only 12 inches long, so it won’t take up too much space on your desktop Read More
I just put mine together and was wondering: how am I able to "activate" the ISO-keys between left-shift/Z or ENTER/'?
Is there like any shortcut I can use? If not, is there any guide on how to configure the XD84? Thanks!
Just got mine put together. The - and { keys don't work. Tested the switches, they're fine, and solder points are great. Nothing registers.
Really disappointed to wait this long, put the thing together (and use some nice switches I've been saving) and have it not work.
beisorottOh damn, I should have replied to your comment earlier :D I found a way to configure the firmware as I wanted by searching on AliExpress for the XD84 PCB and following the google drive link in the description. The link is currently not working anymore but I could send it to you if you still need it. Just shoot me a message :)
Well, I got everything put together. I got as far as using TKG to change the key layout. However, I am lost trying to setup the LED functions. The in-switch LEDS light up in the default layout when pressing the Fn key, but I don't know how to set them up to turn on/off, or how to change the underglow colors. Any advice for a first-timer?
Dear MD, if you drop this again I would love to have more case options. I think there are at least 4 case styles available from China in addition to the one you just offered. I would vote for the full steel enclosure, to be added as well as the aluminum case option. Thanks
