IlikedifferentthingsYou made me laugh :-). I don't have this DAC/Amp, but from the spec's, CS4398 is more advanced (better signal processing, filtering, error correction, control - and especially the added native DSD processing bit). Don't know if the new features were used or how well they were implemented though. There are good, bad and ugly engineers out there, but odd's are better if you have better ingredients to cook with.
