So I received mine yesterday. Two issues:
1) The shipping service to Canada cost US$25, but I had to pay another CDN$30 for taxes and handling. That's CDN$62 more! I could have just driven across the border for $5 worth of gas (and filled up with cheaper gas too). They never make me pay tax with less than $200 of stuff coming back across the border. I definitely won't be using this forwarding service again.
2) The vacuum tube in my unit is pushed off to the right side of the circular hole. It seems to be working just fine, but I would prefer if it were properly centered! Also, the unit comes with this pretty sad "User Manual" that looks like it was copied on an old photocopier that was low on toner. The "manual" doesn't mention anything about how to remove or replace the vacuum tube. The box art is also very low resolution. If the company cares so little about these things it makes me wonder how much they care about the product itself.
At least so far the unit is working properly and sounds pretty good. Fingers crossed.

MindJuicePush the tube back to the middle. Mine came pushed to the side too, the packaging seems to have squashed it that way.

MindJuiceHey mindjuice, do you notice intermittent crackling sounds (probably from tube)? It's quite annoying but idk if that normal with tube amps... If I'm playing at a high volume I won't notice but I often listen to jazz and it's very noticble then

dvprkThe only time I noticed anything like that was when my iPhone was on top of the headphone cable. After I moved it, I haven't heard any crackling.

MindJuiceI've had the exact same problem. Moving my phone a foot or two away has fixed it 100% of the time.
