Is this a good intro dac/amp into the audiophile world? I currently have SHP9500 headphones and I know this is overkill for those headphones, but I'm likely to upgrade in the future to something better. Any comments are welcomed, thanks in advance!

lotustigerYes, this would pair great with your headphones and most other dynamic headphones that are more expensive and require more power.

lotustigerI don't disagree with the dooder down there at all. I will say though if you have the dac plugged in, at least on my NON "B" model, it cucks the volume out. Whereas if I use RCA in, it sounds rather lovely and not cucked-ed.
