There are 2 cheap E82CC dual triodes in this amp. Someone tried to change them? What do You recommend?

piekielkoReplace the rectifier first is what I recommend. The E82CCs were actually quite decent. Here's my video review if that helps:

omfgaaronI waited 20 days for delivery to Poland. I would have received the shipment faster if not for the holiday season. The package was in a warehouse in my country for 12 days. Unfortunately, I had to pay customs duty... But it still came out cheaper than the local store ;-) I have already issued a photo and opinion. Live amplifier looks much better than in the pictures. :)

omfgaaronI ordered 2x Mullard tubes and a Soviet 5c3s/5u4g (black plate) Svetlana NOS rectifier from 1967. I do not know this rectifier - I wonder how it will sound. Shipment on its way. :)

MLaffI recommend Svetlana (but only with a black anode).
After replacing the tube, it gives a noticeable improvement in dynamics. For me, this is the best value for money.

If you want a bit of luxury then I recommend you buy a Czech tube
