Hello, I just joined, primarily for the audiophile products. Looking at purchasing the NHT C3 speakers for our new living room. Space is about 15 feet wide by 33 long and they will fire long ways. Space is just for general listening, music room with all equipment is downstairs, so hoping they will fill it with sound nicely. Cheers.

I have a Burson v5i opamp ($50+ dollars after shipping) inside of it. I will look and make sure, but I should have the original box as well. I can offer it for $200 shipped. You can get it faster not having to wait for the next drop and not have to worry about getting one that has poor soldering. I will also ship out the original op-amp as well.
There is some information in this thread, you can see, if you search for "onkyo"...
https://www.head-fi.org/search/6348971/?q=onkyo&t=post&o=date&c[thread]=704097
Some described the Onkyo as having a warmer, darker, less neutral sound than the TEAC, while others described the TEAC as having boosted bass. I have the TEAC and it's hard to say. It seems like a mostly neutral, clean, sharp sound (I like it), but my experience with these devices is fairly minimal in how they compare to each other and I don't usually hear a lot of difference between them. Certainly I wouldn't describe the TEAC as "dark", though, so perhaps the Onkyo fits that mold more (or that could be people biased by the looks of it).
Someone else here was telling me the Xduoo XD-05 is a much better buy than the TEAC. I got mine pretty cheap though. I agree that the Topping looks really good, like the one to beat these days and have been impressed with how some of their other stuff measures at audiosciencereview.com
Here is a review of the Onkyo:
https://www.head-fi.org/showcase/onkyo-dac-ha200-d-a-converter-and-headphone-amplifier.21121/
which says, "Quite a powerful and dynamic sound, which I didn't think was possible from a battery powered unit, based on my experience with the FiiO E07k. It is warmer and a tiny bit thicker, slower and darker than my desktop rig, with potent, nicely textured and accurate bass, which is pretty well controlled." ... among other things.

Don't get your hopes up too much with these sort of products... they often make little difference in sound quality... it is hyped up in the audiophile market, but phones and PCs sound very much the same. It's more useful to get an amp if you need the driving power or have noisy audio output from your other source rather than hearing more details and so on. They shouldn't have boosted bass or sound profiles if they are accurate.
In regards to the amplification, it drives my HD579's very well. In fact, use it with the low gain and low bass settings, and it still sounds great. However I've yet to acquire any high impedance cans to test it with. I'd love to jump on the HD600 drop, but I also dont want to wait until June. I'm considering the GermanMaestro GMP 8.35 or the massdrop x AKG 7XX.
That being said, I still would very much like to try out the XD-05, and I am very bummed that the NX4DSD doesn't include a digital/COAX input (cannot pair w/ a dap), or balanced output (which neither have). However I knew these limitations beforehand. Despite the lower sampling rates, the XD-05 has the AK4490, and I am eager to check the Velvet Sound signature they're known for.
The NX4DSD servers the purpose I got it for very well--using the OTG function w/ my Android phone, where I keep in my pocket so I can carry it around at work. 5/5
