Can an iPod classic be connected to this via USB or only Apple devices with lightning port ( using lightning to USB camera adapter cable )?

OneLoveIt's not like the Oppo HA2 where you can use the wire included with a classic iPod. That 30 pin USB cable won't work. You need a USB Camera cable. I had to buy a lightning USB Camera. So for the classic, you'd need a 30 pin USB Camera cable if those still exist or ever existed.
It has a 3.5 mm port though which works just fine, you don't get the filters or adjust the SRC

KTMDYes, its complicated (thanks apple). I tried connecting my Nano 7th gen to the lightning to usb camera cable and got "accessory not supported" message. Ipod classic probably won't work then. Needs ios 7 for dac.
