I've had mine for a couple of days now and played with it enough to have a solid opinion. I love this thing. It sounds great, is built great, and has a ridiculous amount of features for the price.
I am using it primarily as a DAC, both USB from my computer and Optical from a Chromecast into some powered speakers or a Gustard H10 amp. The sound on both is superb, rich, musical, wonderful.
Things I particularly like: - Most Cheap medium DACS come with cheap power supplies that really hurt the sound. This comes with NO power supply, but can run off its battery for well over 10 hours (when used as a DAC) The result, no AC power noise.
- Wonderful musical sound and the ability to modify it with filters...These filters are not a Xduoo gimmick, they are built into the AKM chipset and offer subtle musical choices.
- Very handsome well built/compact design. Looks nice sitting on my Gustard.
Only thing I do not like: The volume control has far more gain than it should have. With 3 level gain switching, there is no reason to have the volume control be limited to 12 o'clock and lower because it boosts so fast. Many amps do this to make them seem more powerful than they are (or go to "11"). It just makes them harder to use. This is not a deal breaker..every headphone I have tried works fine and I can get a good volume set. Its just annoying. Of course, the volume does not effect the Line Out/Dac which is how I use it.
I hope Massdrop does well with this...it punches well above its weight and is a fun toy!

GrochWhere you able to get 384 kHz/24bit audio on your unit? I'm only able to reach 192kHz/24bit on my computer via USB. However, I'm able to get the highest possible quality on my Nexus 6P for some weird reason.
